What is it?
Clinical Aromatherapy is so much more than a fragrant massage. True Aromatherapy Treatment involves using prescribed blends of essential oils, hydrosols and carriers as inhalations, compresses, ointments, lotions etc either for customised skincare or health problems. Our oils and carriers are organic wherever possible.
Could a blend help me?
Almost certainly. A blend can be made for anything, but here are a few ideas…an aromatherapy treatment gel can be blended for eczema, psoriasis, cold sores or any number of different skin conditions. Sprays can help menopausal hot flushes, prickly heat or itching. Lotions can be helpful for dry skin, bath mixes for easing tension, compress mixes for pain, massage oils for healing scars, ointments for spots. Essential oils blends can be prepared to help ease heavy or painful periods, prevent a migraine or calm an irritable bowel. We can also advise on the use of oils during pregnancy and for children. The possibilities are endless.
Or, you may simply want us to customise our organic skincare range for you. We have one of the purest range available in the UK and we can add neroli to help thread veins and de-stress you, benzoin and sandalwood for chapped skin, hypericum oil and witch-hazel for varicose veins etc. Simply ask us for what you need; we enjoy the challenge! Costs of blends will obviously vary.
How do I get one?
Patients may be given an aromatherapy blend as part of their normal prescription. If you need a simple headache gel or eczema cream for example, simply ask us to make one up for you and we will tell you when it is ready for collection.
If you need something more individual or complex, it is best to book a FREE 10 minute consultation for us to discuss requirements. For example, if you want something for a lady who has digestive problems, is stressed out and who can’t sleep at night, we can make a customised blend covering all those issues..
Who makes the blends?
